Where they started

Everyone wanted in. Word of mouth could only reach so many.

  • The value is the room: a private community of proven 7-figure founders — the kind most entrepreneurs only ever hear about secondhand.
  • Word of mouth had carried it a long way — but organic growth has a ceiling. It only reaches the people you can already touch.
  • To grow faster they needed the right founders, in the right cities, who’d never heard of them — reached with a paid engine built to scale on evidence, not guesswork.
What we did

We built the engine from scratch — and made every dollar accountable.

We made the founders the face — not a faceless ‘apply now’ ad.
For a room this exclusive, the invitation has to come from the people already inside it. So we scripted and directed founder-led video with Aaron and Chris on camera together, pitching the community in their own words. It worked so well that one of those very first videos is still among the top-spending ads in the account today — more than a year later. Founder-led creative, built right, doesn’t fatigue.
We doubled the budget every single month.
We started at $3K a month and doubled ad spend every single month, all the way to a quarter-million a month — and it’s kept climbing to $300K since. Doubling a budget month after month is a stress test most accounts fail: creative fatigues, costs run away, performance craters. Ours held its footing the whole way up, because there was always a fresh wave of founder-led creative feeding the machine — and, underneath it, a funnel engineered so not a dollar was wasted.
We won cities before we scaled them.
We didn’t spray budget across a map and hope. We proved the two chapters that mattered most — Toronto and Miami — before scaling anywhere else, then rolled out New York, LA, Austin, Denver and beyond, each with creative localized to its city and city-level search behind it, so The Founders Club showed up the moment a founder in that market went looking. Every new city had to earn its budget before it got it.
We built the funnel with a scalpel — not a hose.

It starts at the front door. Before anyone could book a call, a two-question gate — founder? doing $1M+? — screened them, so unqualified applicants never reached the sales team, and the ad platforms got a clean signal about who a genuinely good lead looks like. From there, every dollar knew exactly who it could and couldn’t reach — and the audiences re-sorted themselves. Because the whole system runs off a single source of truth, the moment a lead’s status changed — applied, qualified, booked, joined — its audiences updated automatically across Meta and Google. We never paid to reach someone already in the room, already in the pipeline, or already disqualified at the front door.

  • Top of funnel — awareness in the target cities, planting the seed with the right founders while current members and unqualified leads stayed suppressed.
  • Middle of funnel — proof. Qualified leads got to see the community from the inside: mastermind footage, member stories, PR features, and private Q&A sessions with founders like Mark Cuban and Harley Finkelstein, Shopify’s President.
  • Bottom of funnel — the close. Direct, book-the-call response aimed only at warm, qualified founders, with everyone already a member or already booked cleanly excluded.

The point of all that precision is simple: scale never came at the cost of quality, because the machine itself made sure every dollar reached exactly the right founder — and no one else.

The results

Zero to $300K a month — and still climbing.

The moment the ads ramped, the business moved with them. The engine we built has driven 2,000+ booked calls with qualified founders, and The Founders Club became the fastest-growing community of its kind — featured by Forbes and Inc. From zero to $300K a month in paid in a single year, with $500K a month the next number on the board.

Because we didn’t just scale their spend — we built them a system that scales on evidence.

I’ve known Joel for years — he was in the trenches with us in-house at Crossnet long before he ever started an agency. So when Aaron and I built The Founders Club, he was the only person I trusted to run our growth. He scaled us fast and never once let the quality slip — and he treats our community like it’s his own. That’s not something you can hire for.
